Dr. Kawsar Sardar is the pioneer of advanced interventional pain management in Bangladesh. Achieved the prestigious Fellow of Interventional Pain Practice (FIPP) from the World Institute of Pain (Florida, USA). Became the first Bangladeshi physician qualifying the FIPP, marking a historic milestone. The Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC) officially recognized his FIPP qualification as an additional credential in Bangladesh — legitimizing pain medicine as an academic discipline.
 He has introduced almost all of the latest techniques for treating chronic pain in the country since 2009 and has helped thousands of patients find relief from conditions such as back pain, neck pain, shoulder pain, knee pain, foot and hand pain, cancer pain, and headaches.
He was the first to bring treatments like Ozone Disc Nucleolysis, percutaneous vertebroplasty, balloon kyphoplasty, regenerative therapy, endoscopic discectomy, and radiofrequency ablation to Bangladesh. He also developed Sardar’s Technique for cervical disc herniation, which he presented at WIP World Congress, Turkey in 2023.
In addition to his patient care, Dr. Sardar has dedicated himself to inspiring, training, and guiding new doctors to build their careers in pain medicine. Through numerous workshops at BIRDEM General Hospital and across the country, he has created a strong foundation for the next generation of pain specialists in Bangladesh. Frequently Dr Sardar is invited in many International Pain Conferences around the World to deliver lectures on pain.
For his achievements, Dr. Sardar has been honored internationally with prestigious awards, including the Young Pain Physician Award, Pain Ambassador Award, and Pain Physician Award.
He currently consults at BIRDEM General Hospital, Room 106, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
